Has anyone out there managed to use econnect to update sop headers that have already been save with tax amount? I have tried with the create taxes flag set to 1 and set to 0, either way I get back the error manual tax changes are not supported on Updates. When I have the flag set to 1 I only pass in TAXSCHID and transaction amount, when set to 0 I included the tax amount, am I doing something wrong or is this just not supported by econnect?

Try setting the USINGHEADERLEVELTAXES setting to 1.
To use the tax engine the CREATETAXES setting must be 1. Manual tax updates are not supported so sending in the tax amounts on a SOP update is not supported.
If you are sending in the tax yourself (on a create SOP transaction) , it should be 0. I'm pretty sure you must re-send the entire SOP document including the original lines for an update transaction.
