Push data from the GP SQL Server DBs to an Azure SQL Data Warehouse(Cloud)

Hi Experts,

We're using GP but we tend to have data replications issue. We would like to get hands on list of tables from GP.

Is there any way to push data from the GP SQL Server DBs to an Azure SQL Data Warehouse(Cloud)?

Note that we are looking for a solution that also supports incremental updates, either on a schedule or via real-time replication.

As for a table list, you can use GP Power Tools (can export your environment table list) https://winthropdc.wordpress.com/gp-power-tools-portal/

GP Power Tools does many other things but this is definitely available in the product.  Check it out!

I also frequently visit http://gptables.azurecurve.co.uk/ for 'on the fly' table research.

As for incremental updates, I will let that for others.  I know you can use tools like  SmartConnect https://www.eonesolutions.com/smartconnect/overview/ to do integrations but syncing incremental changes would probably be a bit more involved.  Plus it would depend on some details about your hosting.

I'm interested in incremental syncs myself, so I will follow this post to learn more :)

Ramz, We have done a similar Data push solution from GP SQL server to Azure SQL cloud for syncing Quotes, orders & invoice records .  This will be real time & scheduler based Sync .  Please see the below solution details. Drop an email to learn more.

You can use SQL Server Snapshot Agent to implement transactional replication - take a look at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/replication/transactional/transactional-replication

We are close to opt smartconnect from eOne. Although I cant find any case in there product manuals to push data to cloud like Azure.

Has anyone benefited from this service?
