If I am not mistaken, all online stores (channel) are available across all Legal entities. Can you elaborate what exactly are you trying to do?

What about brick-and-mortar stores? Scenario is having a US legal entity and Canada legal entity for company that sells products in both markets. Need different legal entities for tax rules and things of that nature and back office financials, but want commerce configurations, products, etc available to both legal entities without having to configure everything twice.

While limited data is shared across LEs, information like products, trade agreements, and promotions is currently company-specific. MS has been doing some good investments in data sharing across LEs, they don't support Commerce yet. We have had similar requirements in the past, we had to develop custom batch jobs / use Copy Companies in Data management.

Hello there! To answer your question, it is certainly possible to create a channel in Commerce that is available to more than one legal entity. In fact, this can be a great way to streamline your operations and make it easier to manage multiple entities.

To create a channel that is available to multiple legal entities, you will need to set up the appropriate permissions and access controls. This can be done within the Commerce platform, and may involve creating user groups, roles, and other settings that determine who can access the channel and how it can be used.

It's important to note that creating a shared channel may require some additional planning and coordination between the different entities involved. You'll want to make sure that everyone is on the same page regarding how the channel will be used, who will be responsible for managing it, and how any revenues or expenses will be allocated.

    Hello Josh,

Don't know for POS, but for e-Commerce, you can only have online store / channel PER legal Entity and PER Currency.

I don't think so. The orders will always come to the one legal entity that it is associated to
