Hi,
When create table and set its relation, how to easily understand the difference between Relation and Foreign Key Relation ?
I didn't see any difference in both property, as in both after we specify the Related table, then we need to add the relation key by right click and choose again whether it is Normal or fixed related.
At first I thought, with Foreign Key Relation, after we specify the Related table, then we do not need to specify the field as it would "cleverly" look into both "primary key", and take the related table primary key as the foreign key in current table. But turns out Build error, so I still need to specify the field, same as when I'm choosing (normal) Relation when create new Relation.
Of course there is this docs, which in every question in this forum advice us to look -> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/developer/table-keys-surrogate-alternate-replacement-primary-and-foreign?redirectedfrom=MSDN
But I'm having a hard time of understanding it (after read it over and over) And by the look of "no response" of the person who asked, I'm guessing all of them still confuse as well.
Anyone can help me with more easy to understand of what is the different ?
Thanks,
André Arnaud de Cal...
