Hi Community,
I would like to ask is there anyway to hide or archive an item which we don't wish to use it anymore in Navision 2018?
i understand that we can block the item, but I want to hide or remove it from the item list.

Hi,
There is no standard functionality but you can use Save Table view.
First set the filters as Blocked = No
Then use the Save View as option give it a any name like : Non Blocked Items.
Now run your saved view.

May I ask if i create a save view as, will it also remain like this if say I were to access this Item list from Purchase order Lines or Sales Order Lines, where I need to choose the types?
If you will try to take Blocked item on any document, then it will not allow to take as per the standard functionality, but you can see them, Save as view only work if you dont want to see in the Item List.
You have to do a modification on Items or Delete those items from the system using Config. package make sure those items should not have any stock.
Hi, Regarding blocking items, I have done a detailed test in BC, I hope NAV2018 and BC are the same.
