How do Workspace Tiles (Summary section) get filtered by the Workspace Filter?

I am looking at the 'Invoice' workspace as an example:

When changing the 'Filter' the workspace tiles adjust to show numbers for the specific vendor selected.
How does that occur?  I've been looking through the code and design of this workspace and can't find any indication as to how the tiles get updated with the newly selected vendor.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
Based on your problem, it seems that I found Microsoft's official documentation for you, which describes how to create a workspace, including how to create tiles, the corresponding link is below: Modify a workspace with a tile, list, and data cache - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn, I hope to solve your problem.
In addition, I found other posts in the forum for you, which also describe similar problems, you can refer to below: Dynamics Community Forum Thread Details.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hi radlyJames,

I don't know the full functionality of how it's working.
But on the VendVendorInvoicePortalWorkspace form it implements "SysIFilterProvider" - It has method parmFilter where the filter VendAccount is added and on the form init method they had initialized the VendroAccount control.
On the menu item mapped to the tiles you will be having the method registerDataSoruceOnQueryingEvent where the filter will be applied.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.

Hi, System is counting and displaying the number of records in AOT query based on Vendor selected.

Below Highlighted control is 'Approved, not paid' tile from your screenshot

If you go to Tiles and check its properties, you will get the menu item

In the menu item, you will find the Query

And this is the AOT Query

Mohit is fairly close here but didn't fully define it.  It is in the query but it is because the query uses the 'VendAccount' EDT in it's datasource.  It automatically updates the values using the EDT.

Girish, I've used that on form parts but never on tiles.

Kevin, I didn't find any explanation on your link to my question, however, that doesn't mean it isn't there.

    Thank you all!
