what is the difference between global journal vs intercompany journal ? In which scenario Global journal to be opted ?

Global journal is just a view of all the journals across all companies. It's not actually a journal type. Intercompany journal is between two companies that have an intercompany relationship (buying-selling, etc.) An Intercompany journal creates a payable on one company and a receivable on the other.
