Rollup and calculated fields in crm

Hi,

Please let me know difference between roll up and calculated fields in crm

Question:

1)Is it possible to trigger a javascript on change of rollup and calculated field??

2)Is it possible to trigger a Plugin on change of rollup and calculated field??

3)Is it possible to trigger a workflow on change of rollup and calculated field??

    Agree with Vikas except that I don't think it's possible to use a business rule either. Yes, you can create a business rule which will do something when the form loads.. but it's not the same as having a process on the server side that will do something when the rollup field is updated

    Also, it is possible to trigger javascript, plugin and workflow on change of roll-up and calculated field in dynamics CRM.

    In my knowledge no as rollup fields are updated via background jobs or manual refresh and calculated fields are just the logic stored which runs when the request is made. However, you can write a business rule on change of a rollup field. Check this link
