Why are general hournal batches showing no transactions

I copied a journal entry, made changes, saved and printed. When I go to post or even print again the batch doesn't show any transactions. When I look at the drop down window the transaction is there. I reopen the transaction and can save it again. It still doesn't show any transactions. Even if i give the batch a new number and save it doesn't help. What am I inadvertingly doing wrong?.

If you run the Reconcile utility in financial and select 'Batches', do your batch numbers update properly?

You are doing nothing wrong. They way you expect it to operate is how it should operate. There must be something else wrong.

Can you call up the transaction - remove the batch ID - and then post?
