    Hi,

IIS Reset / Server restart might not help for SQL timeout. SQL timeout means that it is taking longer than expected to run a query.

Have you checked OleDbTimeout registry key?

If you have not defined it then your system might be running with default 30 seconds timeout but you can increase it.

Following link explains how to check / add this.

    support.microsoft.com/.../2637855

CRM might also be logging another event id: 17972 showing how much time it has taken to execute the timed out SQL and it will also log the SQL statement.

The SQL you find in the event logs will help you to fix the problem as you might simply be missing indexes.
