    Hi Gilbert.

    Just a side note.

In Integration Manager, if you are using the list price in the currrency section, click the options tab of the mapping and validate that the recordset is setup to use your source and not default.

    Hi Gilbert,

IM does update prices, but like everything, it has to be set up 'just so'. The most common problem I see is with the sources. Multi-currency also throws people off.

    Item Source

We'll start with our list of items. Each Item has 1 list price per currency. Getting the list price is important if you calculate the selling price as a percent of list.

    List Price Source

The destination for list price is in two places. There is a 'List Price' in the Currency folder and there is a 'List Price' in the base Inventory Item folder. If you are not using Multi-Currency, then the List price in both destinations will be the same.

    Selling Price Source

To determine the selling price of an item, the Pricing Method, Price Level, Unit of Measure, Currency and Quantity are considered. The 'Pricing' destination holds the Pricing Method (and the default UofM and Price Level). Each Item can have only 1 pricing method. Available Pricing Methods include:

    - - Currency Amount (hard-coded $ amount)

    - - % of List

    - - % Markup on Current Cost

    - - % Markup on Standard Cost

    - - % Margin on Current Cost

    - - % Margin on Standard Cost

    Item Pricing

To determine the price of an item you need a source that lists the prices to match up with the rows on the Item Price List Maintenance window. So, you need to indicate the following:

    --- Specific Price Level

    --- U of M

--- Quantity Breaks (could be ALL quantities if there are no quantity price breaks)

    --- Currency ID

--- The percentage if the price isn't based on the price method 'Currency Amount'

--- The Amount if the price IS based on the price method 'Currency Amount'

    That should do it.

    What problems are you having?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
