Credential Error Connecting to Synapse Serverless

I'm running into a problem connecting to a Synapse Serverless DB using Power Query or the Synapse Analytics connector.  In both instances, we can connect from Management Studio without any issue.  However when we use either of these connectors, at first it prompts us to Sign into our Account, Shows Signed In and then fails with Invalid Credentials. 

We've tried clearing browser temp files, cache etc, opening in new browsing window and they all have the same issue.  The account and credentials have same issue when trying to connect through Power Apps Portal.  It seems if it's an auth issue I would assume that we'd have the problem with Management studio as well but it's fine, however Make.Powerapps.com has same issue.  Anyone run into this?

    Hi Bill - Azure SQL Database connector in Power Query Online is for dedicated pools.

    For Synapse serverless i.e. Lake DB, you can use the Attach Synapse Connect an Azure Synapse data source (preview) - Dynamics 365 Customer Insights | Microsoft Learn

    Here a workaround.

    Use Power Query Connection from a blank query.

    Copy and paste the query from the advanced editor*.

    click on the configure credential on the yellow banner.

    End.

    * to get the query: connect to your data via Power Query editor on Power Bi Desktop or Excel. Once established the connection, copy the query from the advanced editors.
