Country Specific Reports

Hi

I have a company setup with the country code as ZA (South Africa). I also have a VM (Contoso - USMF) setup as country US.

There are certain reports in USMF that are no in the ZA company.. If I change the country code of the ZA company, to US, it shows the report.

Is there a way to display these US specific reports in my ZA company?

They don't seem to be US specific (e.g. 'Customer posted payment journal').

Any ideas?

    Hi James Solomon,

    You need a developer to look into that. Sometimes the country limitation is included (hard-coded) in the code and needs to be changed by a developer to make it generally available.

    That is disappointing. Will the developer need to look into the report itself?

    Or is there other code that he/she needs to look at?

    Hi James Solomon,

    Sometimes it is as easy as changing the country region code at the menu item level. Yet, sometimes things are not so easy and you need to change the code. That's why it is the best and safest option to consult a developer.

    Hi Crispin

    I mean that in the menu item, in USMF, there is a report:

    Sales Ledger > Reports > Transactions > Payments > Customer Posted Payment Journal

    However, in the ZA company, has Sales Ledger > Reports > Transactions > Payments.. but no report called Customer Posted Payment Journal

    Hello James,

    The Output menu item of this report is called CustPostPaymJournal_NA and is bound to the country region codes US & CA. You can test if adding ZA makes the report available but to be sure that it works properly, let a developer have a look at the issue.
