Is there a way to detect if a record is inserted to a table?

I am doing customizations in AX7/D365 and I am using extensions.

I have to different event handlers, in the first event handler I insert a record into my custom table. While in my second event handler, what I want to happen is I want to know if the process in my first event handler happened (which is a record is inserted to my custom table). Both my event handlers can access my custom table.

Is there a way I can detect using the table itself, if a record had just been inserted?
