Can we update Goal currency field for various goal records?

I tried setting currency lookup and exchange rate through sql but while recalculating it again sets exchange rate to the organization's base currency.

Thought you were asking about updating those "actual money" fields.. With the currency lookup I'm not sure what will happen if you update it through SQL (guessing the actual will change next time the goal is recalculated, but I never tried doing it)

Is it ok if i update it through sql query ? Actually, we have a requirement where some records of goals need to have different currency(for Target and Actual fields).

I don't think you can update values in those fields manually. Those are, essentially, rollup fields (and, anyway, I just tried and got an error message)
