Please can you let me know if a report is available in D365 business central  which shows all the parts set up and whether they are stock or inventory?

    Your question is a little too vague.  Stock and Inventory are often interchangeable terms.  If you are asking if the system can identify Finished Goods from Raw Materials, yes.  Generally, we will establish a separate Posting Group to identify Finished Goods from Raw Materials.  Your report would just need to list, or group by, the Posting Group to make the distinction.
     
    If you are looking for something different, please elaborate on your use of stock verse inventory.

    Hi Ben,
     
    Thank you for your reply.
    They want to have a report that will show the Product name, Product code and what this is classed as - Inventory or Stock. How do I get this report out?

    You don't need a report to see that information, you can simply adjust the Item List view within Business Central.  If you wanted the information outside of BC, you could use the Send to Excel function or a Config Package.
     
    If you need to send the information to someone else (or heaven forbid, print it), then you could copy and modify the "Inventory - List" {Item List (10143, Report Request)} report, then add/remove the fields needed for whatever purpose they have.
