Management Reporter 2.0.1700.66 has missing data in a report

Our customer is on MR 2.0.1700.66.  They added a new column to track prior year information and the report is only returning some of the data.  If they were on one of the newer versions of MR, I would re-build the datamart.  This version does not have a datamart.  How do you correct the problem?  Some data is being returned in the column and it is correct, but there is more missing than what is being returned.

Thank you

If you are using legacy adapter, then the data will come properly. Please check the column and row definition then try again.

Try to create a one GL transaction for the prior year and save it(don't post), then run the report with unposted transactions and check whether the GL data is coming or not. If not coming re-configure your integration (take a backup of your MR database and all report building blocks).

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hi Rochelle -

Can you supply a screen shot of the column layout?

I verified the Food Sales did have amounts in GP for the periods highlighted, which is now missing.

    Thanks Rochelle.

A couple of things I would check if this was happening in my company:

    1.  What happens if you change column D to Base instead of 3:5?

    2.  What happens if you change column D and F to YTD instead of Periodic?

Ah, the fun of troubleshooting!  :)

    Let's try this:

    1. Set all periods to 3:5

    2. Set all periods covered to Periodic

Run the report again.    I don't see this is as being a row format issue because you said these is data for those years in the database

Sean, your questions got me curious, so first I deleted column D and Inserted another, then I made column D the same as column B.  It is returning the partial data
