Dear All,
I am installing oracle provider in order to make a link server between sql server and oracle. Am using sql 2012 and windows server 2012 r2 but the destination server is on oracle version 11g. My worry is if I install oracle client 11g on my side it has incompatibility issues but oracle client 12c is compatible but will it communicate with my oracle 11g on the destination server?.
