Is it possible to customize or add more fields or parameters to the scheduling board in Dynamics 365 Field Service. What i know so far is the scheduling board is configurable to a certain limit but cannot be customized. Please share some light on this topic.

My answer is quite old now. Please ignore my previous comment as Microsoft has now given users a way to add extra parameters.

As Thomas said, there is no way to expand the filter criteria. However the current resource location can be factored into a calculation if you are using mobile auditing. Also the current location of a resource is assumed to be the last BRB they were assigned prior to the next one on their schedule. So if they start at location A and travel to location B, when you go to schedule them to location C, Field Services will calculate their travel from B to C, not A to C.
Beyond that I have had success leveraging Characteristics to match most filtering needs.
Currently there is no supported way of adding more parameters to filter on for the schedule board.
Thanks for your prompt response Thomas. What we are looking to do is add an additional parameter as a part of the search criteria to filter resources for work order bookings. For eg: we already have location, characteristics, territories etc as filter criteria in scheduler board, we want to add an additional parameter like resource current location which may differ from the location where he actually belongs to. The main highlight to the question here is if its possible to add an additional parameter to the scheduler filter criteria.
