Choice field dropdown on PowerApps Model Driven App Form is hidden when clicked

Hi All

I have posted this question in the PowerApps forums and someone suggested the Dynamics 365 Community may be able to help.

This is an odd one - I've added a choice field to one of my model driven powerapp's main forms but when you click on it to open the drop down, the list appears to open behind the other components on the form so you can't see it.

Below are two screenshots, the first with it "un clicked" and the second showing it after I've clicked it - I've circled the tiny bits of the drop down that you can see. (It's at the bottom of the page so is opening upwards - same behaviour if its in the middle of the page and opens downwards). I've also added a screenshot of the whole tab.

I've tried it in its own section, as shown, and also in another section with other fields but get the same behaviour.

I've got two choice fields in the Header which work fine.

Any ideas?!

I have tried to reproduce your issue.

From your screenshot, it looks like the options popped up and was obscured by the New Section title.

So I add a choice field into the main form of Contact and try to expand this option in different browsers.

Here are the screenshots.

Edge (Version 88.0.705.56 (Official build) (64-bit)):

Chrome (Version 88.0.4324.104 (Official Build) (64-bit)):

IE (Version: 11.630.19041.0):

Although unfolding in different ways, none of them appear to be obscured.

What’s more, the prompt in your screenshot, ‘Select or search options’, nor does it appear in any of the above browsers.

This should be related to the type or version of browser you are using.

You can try the following two solutions:

Change or upgrade your browser.

Change the position of this field from the bottom of the page so that it will not expand upwards.

More details about the issue are also appreciated to locate the problem.

For example,

Does this field have the same problem in other forms?

Is it a global choice field?

Have you tried to change the options of the field, and if yes, does it work?

Please let me know if there’s any further problem.
