Trial Version - Location and settings

Hello, 

Before selecting a partner, I wanted to install a demo version to setup a test customer in D365 Business Central and play with it to understand the system better. However, it came with local settings for the area I am located but I need US/UK versions. Changing all this information on localized standard version (rapid) consuming significant time. 

- How can I change the settings for US or UK standard version? Should I cancel my trial version, re-apply and fake my location? (not sure if this is possible) 

- Is there any excel version of standard packages, so I can import them (this would solve my case as well)

    Hi,

    I would recommend creating a new "sandbox" with a new testing MS login.  

    Erik Hougaard has a video on the process, but note that some of the pages and a few details in the process have changed since he made this video:

    Open a new incognito / inprivate browser session and go to this URL:

    https://businessstore.microsoft.com/en-us/store(signup:signup/admin)

    Carefully follow Erik's instructions as closely as possible. When signing up, choose your desired country / region.  If you are are located in the UK but want to sign up for a US tenant, I don't know if you will encounter any geo-restrictions in the sign up process related to your region.

    When filling out the forms, you can use test values.  For instance, I have created a few sandboxes with values like "stevetesting1" (.onmicrosoft.com), etc.
