Kevin's reply is a very valid suggestion, far more advanced than just the stock RMS X and Z.
Another option is opening the receipt format clicking on the magnifying glass for the reports and changing the paper size in the settings for the report.
One other possible option is RITE consolidated Z report: rite.us/.../ConsolidatedZReport.aspx

On manager > database > Registers > receipt formats > XReport.xml is a 40 column
If your report is 40 columns try to set your full page printer to print columns or multiple pages on one sheet.
I have not come across a full page z report perhaps your RMS partner may be able to set one for you.
