Can't Change Report Date to Current Year after restoring FRx directory from backuop

I recently had a server crash that had FRx installed on it.  The FRx directory was not part of our regular backups.  I restored an old backup from last year of the FRx 6.7 directory.  Now when we try to run a report in FRx, the Report Date is for the previous year and it will not allow us to change it to the current year.  Any help on how to get it to come over to the current year would be appreciated.

Are you familiar with the process of rebuilding the G32 files for FRx?  It is pretty simple, and probably will fix the issue.  Just make sure you have a backup of the SYSDATA and no one is in FRx when you do it.

Re-create the .g32 files that are used for Microsoft FRx to completely rebuild the GL index. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to FRx 6.7, and then click Report Designer.
    2. When the Database Login window appears, click Cancel.
    3. When the "Select a Company to Work With" window appears, click Cancel.
    4. Click Admin, click Organization, and then click SysData.
    5. Select the path in the Current directory field, right-click the path, and then click Copy. If you cannot copy the path, note the exact path that appears.
    6. Click Start, click Run, paste or type the path of the SysData folder, and then click OK.
    7. Close all instances of Microsoft FRx that are running. Then, delete or rename all the files in the SysData folder that have the following extensions:
    • .g32
    • .ldb
    • .lck
    8. Start Microsoft FRx. To do this, follow steps 1 through 3.
    9. Click Company, and then click Information.
    10. Select a company that is listed in the window. Click Set as Default, and then log on. Repeat this step for the next company that is listed in the window until you have repeated this step for all companies.
