I am trying to enter a g/l code in the Gen Posting Setup, however, when I click into the box, no g/l accounts are available for selection, any suggestions, please? Thank you
Hi, It seems that "Account Category" is not set in your GL Account. When opening this window, "Account Category" will be filtered under certain conditions. For example, the Sales Account below only displays the "Account Category" as Income.
Notice in your screenshot, the funnel next to certain columns. That is a system filter applied during the lookup. Your G/L does not have any accounts that meet the system filters. By clearing the filters, you will see more of your G/L Accounts to select. The filters are there to help Users select the correct G/L account, so I would suggest reviewing your G/L Accounts to ensure you have data populated to help facilitate the setup.
As per your question,Snapshot.it seems like you may created company without demo company configuration. so you need to perform G/L Account setup process according to it.
