Unable to process worksheet 401

Hi All,

One of our RMS shops is able to process every worksheet style except style 401(Data upload)

What happens is that, whenever it contacts the HQ server, the memory on the HQ server shoots up to about 1GB(monitoring from the Task manager), beyond this point, the HQ server machine will throw an error message"Not enough memory" after taking so long. When you click OK,the HQ server will crash and close down, the HQ client at the store will also display an error message"Operation is not allowed when object is closed", but the memory on the HQ server is about 7GB

What I did was to take a backup of the store database restore it on a different environment and connected it to an HQ database(different from the live HQ). It worked in minutes. everything was uploaded successfully

Store Database= 600mb

HQ Database=54gb, space available=13gb Usage=75%

Can any one help out.

Its very urgent

Thanks in advance

    Michael,

Try deleting all temp files, especially anything starting with QS*.tmp both at the store and HQ.

Make sure you have enough RAM at both ends, at least 2 gig at the store and 3 or more at the HQ depending on the OS.

SQL Express can use a maximum of 1 gig of RAM, all other versions are 3 or higher, plus whatever the other programs are running and the OS itself.
