Our client is trying to open the extended Budgeting screen and getting the following error.  I can not find any articles pertaining to this error in executing the Extended budget screen, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Dawn

    Hi Deb,

I find this is reported as bug 15373 and is currently still an issue.  The workaround options are:

In GL Setup screen >Options tab - select multi-company (enabled only if multi-company is installed)

    OR

Budget Info tab - under Budget Segment Selections, select every available option

These are the test steps on that bug which help show what causes the issue.

    1. In demo database, open GL Setup screen >Options tab - and turn off the multi-company options.

Budget Info tab -> Budget Segment Selections, uncheck everything but the Reporting Unit

Save and close the setup screen

Attempt to open Extended Budget Maintenance and receive error

Elaine Thank you for the reply, for some reason I never got notice you replied so I apologize for the delay.  The client stated that they only want to budget against the one segment of the subaccount., and therefore don't want to select all segments.  If they only select that one segment they still get the same error.  Is there a way to accomplish what they want while only selecting one segment?

    Thanks,

    Dawn

I assume that there is not a work around that could accommodate this request?  I know the client is very interested in being able to budget and asked us to estimate the cost of fixing this issue.
