Yes, if you don't already own it, it will cost money.  Just check with your partner about your registration keys.  It coudl be that you own it and just nobody ever installed it.

I always recommend that people purchase integration manager if you need to, or in the future, plan on integrating any outside data into GP.  It is a very helpful and time saving tool if you can use it.

It's not under the start menu either. Our lady that handles payroll and deals with our parter is going to contact him next week, as he is currntly on vaction. She mentioned that when she inquired about various reports, our partner stated the rights have to be purchased in order to print certain reports. She fears this will be the case with integration manger, is this true?

If IM is greyed out in GP it doesn't mean that you don't have the product registered.  It is a seperate install on the GP CD or DVD and you actually have to do an extra step in order to get it to show up in the Tools -> Integrate -> Integration Manager section of GP.

I just launch IM from the start menu under programs and Dynamics GP - or where the GP install is located.  If it's not there, try to install it and log onto customersource or ask your partner to get your registration keys if you don't have them.

Yes that indicates its not registered.

Look for a copy of the documentation  for doing a payroll import before you get it so you can get an idea of what is involved.

Integration manager will somewhat simplify the import but it can still be quite complex.

No offense taken, you are correct. I have been reading, yet things are still confusing. I do appreciate all of your help and patience.

Yes we use GP for payroll, if "Integration Manager" is grayed does that mean it is not installed?

    Thanks again!

The time clock sowftware has two generic ASCII, as well as an ADP export. I think the ADP one should work? However when I go to integrate there is no import adp option, is somethiNg no setup?
