Currently we post all transactions to the GL so they need to be approved before they are posted to the GL. Users want to change this to post through the GL so the batches are automatically posted to the GL.
Are they any concerns or things I need to watch out for when changing this?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. This is what I was looking for.
One important thing to mention as well, If your posting is allowed on the transaction level rather than batch, Dynamics GP will "Post to GL" even if the setup is "Post Through". No "Post through" GL is allowed with transaction posting.
One important consideration AFTER you change your posting to "Post Through". Don't just assume that everything is now posting through and you don't have to check it. Someone must be assigned to periodically check the GL to make sure there are no unposted batches sitting there.
To add up, "Post through" is my recommendation for the daily transactions for one simple reason, the system process is the primary driver for transaction posting as it was originally created. Furthermore, Quality checks and reconciliation should be scheduled to tie sub ledger and general ledger on a routine bases.
Although, that doesn't make the "post to GL" undesired option. Each case has a a recommended option to adopt, "Post To GL" is desired over "Post Through" in implementation for most of the clients I've worked with.

The only concern is you will loose the ability to have the batch reviewed before the batch is being posted.
On the flip side there is one less thing to worry about, batch posted in sub ledger and not posted to GL...
