1,145Hello everyone,
My question is basically in two parts:
a) I want to install Frx6.7 on a Server system with 2003 server Operating systems but i keep getting an Error message as thus:
"An error (.5006 : 0x80070017) has occured while running the setup. Pls make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: for Frx software"
The problem is that i had not tried any previous installation before and no other application was running. I also restarted the system but no luck. What can i do in this case?.
b) I have been installing Frx on different systems but if i tried to accept the default location of frx folder which is in the C:Program File/Frx Software/Frx6.7. It does not accept the path automatically. But if i browse the files location to C: on the systems it accepts the location and eventually installs.
The Problem is that in a lot of the network environment where their is security on the network, the frx on the client systems will not be able to access the Frx on the server for reports. I believe if it is installed in the Programme file it will surely connect to the Frx sysdata folder on the server sytems. How do i make Frx install on the default location which is inside the programme file.
