Remove or Hide out of the box Account/Contact/Opportunity Creation popup window upon Lead Qualification

Hello Community,

When qualifying a Lead in Dynamics 365 (CRM), we get the following out of the box popup window. Does anyone know if it's possible to hide/remove this window altogether? Is there any option or setting where we can do this?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks!

    Hi Eric,

In the Sales Hub, at the bottom of the site map, select Change area pastedimage1593161001769v1.png and then select App Settings.

Then in site map, select Overview, and on the Overview page, select Manage for Auto-create records for newly qualified leads.

    Select Yes and Save.

The pop-up window will no longer appear. However, in this case, when the user qualifies a Lead, it will create an Account, a Contact and an Opportunity automatically.

    Hi Hao,

    Thanks for sharing the information!

However, in this case what I would like to do is to not create an Account and Opportunity at all. I do need to create a Contact but I don't want it to be created automatically as I want duplicate detection to work if it detects there is an existing contact to qualify the lead into.

What I have done is set the following setting to "No" in the System Settings below, but it's still giving the Account/Contact/Opportunity creation popup.

RE: Remove or Hide out of the box Account/Contact/Opportunity Creation popup window upon Lead Qualification

    Hi Eric,

In order to realize that when a user qualifies lead, only a contact is automatically created without creating account and opportunity, we will do 3 things.

    1. Hide the Qualify Lead dialog.
    2. Prevent account creation.
    3. Prevent opportunity creation.

    • Hide the Qualify Lead dialog.

As mentioned in my last answer,

Then in site map, select Overview, and on the Overview page, select Manage for Auto-create records for newly qualified leadsSelect Yes and Save.

    • Prevent account creation.

As long as Lead's "Existing Account" field contains data, then when qualifying lead, no Account will be created.

So we need to set the "Existing Account" field of the BPF "Lead to Opportunity Sales Process" to Required.

    • Prevent opportunity creation.
