Deleting uses in SL 6.5 does not remove them from the group

We are trying to clean up our user and screen tables and permissions that go with them.  We found that just by deleting user record does not remove it from the group, screen and permission tables.  Is this by design?  Is it okay for us to clean up 1) user, 2) group and 3) screen and 4) permission records?

(Please note that I'm referring to actual underlying tables of user, group, screen and permission here)

TIA

Nayan

Hi I suggest that you start to erase from access right then groups and finaly the user, or you can find the users and the access rights on the systemdatabase the tables are accessdetrigts, usergrp and userrec, you can erease the users and access rights for the users.
