Month-End Processing Running Long

Our Month-End aging report for AP is running excessively long (3+ hours) since the upgrade to 2019 version.

It seems to be processing non-current items,

Is there a way to limit processing to only current work.

Are you running the AP HATB report? Is this being run from GP or SSRS?

What report filters are being used? Could you include a screen capture?

Here is a screen shot of the problem report:

We are running from GP version 18.3.1290

If you need more information I will work with our accounting people to get it for you.

I don't run the report myself.

When was the last time this utility was run? This is a very disk intensive utility as it moves documents from the open tables to the historical tables. It is often a good idea to perform a backup before running it. I also always suggest they advance the check date one month in the event of any NSF checks.

FYI

Yes, I see there is an "Open" option.

Accounting says they have always run the "All" option and only since the upgrade has it gone from a minute or so to 3 hours.

What was your previous version of GP? What is your current version? There is no GP 2019. It will be GP 18.x.xxxx. You can click on the '?' in the upper right-hand corner and them About Dynamics.

If you were to run this process at the end of the day when no one else is in GP and then run SQL Profiler on your server do you see it processing anything?
