    Hi,

Better to copy those econnect dll's into your local machine. and use them in your project. you are trying to create some master data like Customers and others. i will suggest you to use Dynamics Gp Webservices which is specially design to use over the network and Consume eConnect internally.

    Follow the above Vikas suggestion.

    Or

Just install eConnect on the server B and map the dll files to your projects.

    Hope this helps!!!

I am not clear your points.

What installed server A & B? Where you developing your project?

eConnect must be installed where you want develop and debug the code. Also eConnect should installed where the integration should run.

    Hope this helps!!!

Hey Naresh , just copy the folder of eConnect  which exist in c drive from Server A and paste into your development machine (Server B).

1.) Then add the references of eConnect .dll into your development project.

2.)  If you wants to debug then first ping your Server A (Where GP is installed) means that your connection string must be server A then after you debug it.

I think you got the my point.

    Thanks !!

I think you can not debug from one sever to another server machine. If you want to debug the code, the GP and Visual Studio(Development Project) should be on same machine.

For eConnect reference, you can copy the same version of eConnect dll to your current project. But, while running the integration it will check the eConnect services on the current machine where the integration is running.

    Hope this helps!!!

I Understand your concern, But if you are working on Dynamics GP Development. Then you should have one dedicated development environment which have all required things like GP,SQL,eConnect etc. It is not required to debug code each and every machine. you just need to create the same scenario in your local development environment to figure out any issue.

If you deploy some customization on client side obviously you will not debug any issue in there environment. There must be an dedicated development environment.

    Hi Vikas,

    What you said is correct,

i have one dedicated server for GP.

using econnect am communicating GP now am doing my development in that server only by adding econncet dlls reference to my solution from c drive (where my econnect installed)

now i want to access same dlls from other server to develop my another application.

if i copy those dlls to my another server i will get meta data only not the GP data

here i am not bothering about client system it's a different net work i can't share client econnct dlls

    Thanks,

    Naresh.Sangana
