Export data using data management

Hi Guys,
 
I need to export data to excel using data management, but while exporting I should not export all the data's to excel.
 
I need to restrict few records to be exported in excel using few condition which I will be checking using the code , if that condition satisfied only I need to export rest I should not export it.
 
In which way I can perform it. In which place I can write that logic.

    If you can define your conditions as query ranges (which might include custom SysQueryRangeUtil methods), then you can use a filter in Data management.

    Hi Adam,
     
    In addition to the Martin suggestions, you can also use Filter option under Data management export project.
