Problem with Job Queues - BC Online 19.5

Hi,

On Friday night we have spotted, that all the Job Queues are not running, they are "Ready" noone is "In Progress" or "Error" state. But they just do not work. We use Business Central Online. We have 5 environemnts, UK, US, Sweden, Norway and Germany. Jobs are running fine on all of them, but stopped in Germany. I tried to restart environment - no result. I can easily run job "once in background" and this will end up sucessfully.

I can put next runtime +2min and BC ignores it when that time comes (Still ready).

Can you advice?

BC Online 19.5

    Hi

We had that issue once and ended up submitting ticket with Microsoft (through our partner) to resolve the issue.

What happens if you delete on Job Queue and create it again? Do you have BC 20 Sandbox and see the same issue?

    Hi,

when I delete it and create again - the same, no result.

I have BC 20 Sandbox and it works, but I don't want to update Prod BC yet - for sure not like that. Anyway, thanks for tips :)

I agree with you that if you are not ready you should not upgrade.

Ask your partner to check with Microsoft. Last time for us it was something that they caused it. Mention to them all your steps to reduce communication (works on Sandbox, Delete/recreate did not work, once work but not scheduled , etc). Include some screenshots as well.

I do not know if that is the case here. But it is good to know that if you log on to a BC Environment as a delegated admin you are not allowed to start jobs in the job queue but you can run them once for test purpose.

Jobs in the job queue needs to be started by a licensed user in order to run as scheduled.

Hi, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but the BC SaaS 19.5 environment should have all passed the 60 day major upgrade period recently. It is recommended that you upgrade to BC20 and try again.

Also I agree with MahGah, should submit a Service Request to Microsoft.

    Hope this help as well.

    Thanks.
