Remove small balance credit memo

I want to know how to get rid of a credit memo that has a very small balance something like .003 cents. GP doesn't let me create a debit memo for a similar amount in order to get rid of it, and I can't think of any other solutions.

Ramanav, can you clip a copy of the screen showing the balance out to 3 decimal places.

If you see something out to 3 decimal places do you have your currency fields set to 3 decimal places?

If you do, they what error or what is preventing you from entering the Debit Memo for the same 3 decimal place value?

Interested to learn more before suggesting a solution.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the reply. I see the balance when I run a smartlist for outstanding credit memos. unfortunately I believe the IT department as locked the fields to 2 decimal points.

Dear Ramanav,

You can make the debit memo and post it normally, then go to "Apply Sales Document"

then select you customer and clear the credit memo against debit memo that you have created and post it as shown below

Transactions>>Sales>>Apply Sales Documents
