Hi All

I am using PO prepayment functionality and today observe the weird behavior, actually I make the “invoice register” journal  on 5th of April and at the time of PO invoicing I apply the prepayment and post the invoice on 20th April. After posting the invoice when I saw the vendor transaction , prepayment was not applied on the invoice, also when I open the prepayment “apply” I cannot find the data on apply form.

Just want to know is this is bug if we register invoice and post the invoice in different dates prepayment will not apply and how I can resolve this issue.

    Hello Imran,

    Can you replicate the issue in a different demo or test environment?

    If you can, then it might indeed be a bug.

    If you can't then this might be result of accidently hitting the space button on your keyboard or something else.

    You can also have a look at LCS

    There are a number of hotfixes available for AX2012 but based on the information provided it is difficult to say whether they help or not.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I tested the scenario in my DEV environment in both the ways, by putting the same dates and different in Invoice register and invoicing posting, if same dates it works fine, if different dates its not applying on the invoice.

    Now can you please suggest me how I can fix this issue.

    Hi Imran,

    As you seem to be on the most recent version, I would recommend that you open a support case with MS. For this version I have not found a fix and to me it looks like a bug.
