Hi:

I entered two default values in an Item Template. 

And, when I export data from the Configuration Package for the Item Table (27), I do see the two values.

But, I need to find a way to make these two fields visible for items in NAV.

Unfortunately, we do not have contact with the developer who created these two fields in Table 27.

What would be the best way of getting these two fields visible in NAV?

When you have an Item Template, where do you find the "results" of what you entered?

    Hi:

    The only place that we see the data is upon exporting to Excel from the Configuration Package.

    I suppose that we could link that resulting spreadsheet somehow to the Item Card.  But, is there some sort of simple solution that would automate the update and export of that spreadsheet, so that we would not have to always export from the Configuration Package?

    Hi, Unfortunately, if you do not have a development license, you cannot add fields to the new page. If the fields are not on the page, you cannot add fields through Choose columns.

    John,

    Item Templates are used when creating new Items. You would be prompted when inserting a new record which template to use. Then the default values appear in the item card. This does not go back and populate already created records.
