Sales Invoicing is randomly generating a payment entry

Sales Invoicing is randomly generating a payment entry.   This happens for various customers, and for multiple payment method codes.   It is same behaviour for when there is a GL account in the balancing account column - but nothing is there.   It happens with multiple users.      Have not been able to duplicate issue, but it continues to happen.  Any ideas?

    Hi

    I had the same issue that was linked to the Payment Method selected and the "Bal. Account No" column.

    If this column has the bank code or G/L code, the payment entries appear when posting the sales invoice using this payment method.

    Check your payment method to confirm the behavior.

    Hello Peter - Thanks so much for your reply.   Business Central is behaving exactly as if a bank code or G/L code is in the "Bal. Account No." column - and yet this column is blank for all payment methods.   Also - this is randomly happening - and I am not able to duplicate on demand this issue.

    Standard BC only does the payment entry based on payment methods. And when you say 'payment entry', you do mean that you are getting a customer ledger entry payment not another general ledger entry....right?

    Do you have any add-ons from Appsource installed?

    Hello Kim - Thanks for your reply.   Yes - the customer is receiving a customer ledger entry payment.   I am not aware of AppSource add-ons - however there are multiple extensions in use.
