Managed Solution Not Overwriting Form Changes When Imported

(0) ShareShare

I am using Dynamics CRM 2013 (6.1), I have made changes to the opportunity entity/form on a dev instance, published all changes, exported it as a managed solution, and then imported it into a staging instance.  When importing I have ticked the box to overwrite customizations.

However I am finding that whilst most of the managed changes have been correctly implemented on staging, some of the opportunity form changes have not, for example: order of the tabs is not correct, some of the form labels wording is not correct, one tab is hidden by default (whereas on dev it was visible by default) etc

I could correct these by customization on the staging environment but don't want to do that.

Does any one have any suggestions about what this could be/any things that I could try out?  Thanks a lot for any help.

Just a correction to my issue here, the label namings are all fine, its just that some of the text at the top of the sections and tabs are different after deployment.  Also the ordering and visibility of some of those tabs.

Even i come across this issue couple of times where we pushed solution as managed in staging it did not update section names. In order to fix this we added new section with  and moved all the fields to new section and removed the old one and exported the customization. When we imported this solution it worked fine.

Just add new tab, section and moved fields from old ones to new ones that should fix this issue.

I get this issue too sometimes and I simply make a copy of the Main form and deactivate the old one.
