Hello All,

I have developed a new data entity. When I try to create a import or export project in data management when I try to add this entity I am getting the following error,

2541.Error.png

Please guide me what I am doing wrong here. Also I would like to tell that it is working correct in the local VM but its not working in a sandbox environment.

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

Have you tried refreshing the data entities in the Data Management workspace? You can also regenerate the entity mapping, going to the entity list, select your entity, then on the top menu select "Modify target mapping" and finally "Generate mapping".

    Hello Adria

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes I have tried all of the above but I am still getting the same error.

Is there any code in the entity that could cause the error? Like in the mapEntityToDataSOurce or mapDataSourceToENtity methods? Any parametrization to be done regarding entity fields (enums?)?

No there is no code in the entity.

    Hi Wekey,

The error details are showing that the mapping was not done, but also something related to enumerator fields. So, there can be multiple issues here.

    1) If the mapping is not done automatically, you have to map them manually, or see if you can rename the column names of the source file to meet the entity field names.

    2) Did you include enumeration fields? If so, check if the staging table has these fields as string fields.

    Hi Wekey,

What is the version you are working on?

I know in older versions that you had a distinction between refresh and rebuild for data entities, I believe it was removed after version 7.3 (not sure on that one). If you are working on the older version, could you try rebuilding the data entities?.

    Best regards,

    Ties
