Hello,

I am new to BC and trying to transfer item from one location to another but I am getting a message saying " in-transit .." can only be done by transfer order? I want a direct transfer from one location to another and do not know how to change this. any help?

thanks

If you transfer item via 'Item Reclass. Journal' then you should use in 'Location Code', 'New Location Code' columns normal Locations (on 'Location Card' "Use As In-Transit" = no)

Or alternative way for transfer from normal Location to normal Location directly  - use 'Transfer Order' with "Direct Transfer" =yes

Rather than using the "Transfer Order", try the "Item Reclass. Journal." It will allow you to move inventory in one step.
