    Hi,

If you update a sandbox environment, then the update will most likely uninstall all your custom extensions.
Updating a production environment will not remove your custom extensions.

    Hello,

I share with you the following link for updates:

If it is a Sandbox, it is possible that if you uninstall the extensions. In production environments, they are not uninstalled.

    I hope I can help.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Extensions in a Sandbox environment are removed with each update, so they need to be re-published after every update

    Thanks!

Hi, This is a message that all developers see when publishing from VS Code. . .
Hope the following can give you some hints.
The scope of extensions (Global, PTE, Dev)

    Thanks.

    Hii there,
if you published extension as DEV It will remove with environment update, if you deployed extension as PTE it will Give you warning mails if your extensions are not compatible with next upcoming versions. and then it will remove.
so advice you that publish extension as PTE if possible,.

If You found answer mark it answered.

If you publish an extension as a DEV type, it will be removed automatically during an environment update. However, if you deploy it as a Per-Tenant Extension (PTE), you’ll receive warning emails if the extension isn’t compatible with upcoming versions, and only then will it be removed.

Recommendation: Always publish your extension as a PTE when possible to avoid unexpected removal.

I already deployed it as a PTE type but it removed from the production. Is there any solution for this?
