Dynamics GP 10 windows installer error

We are upgrading Dynamics GP 10 sp 2 to Dynamics GP 2013. I need to upgrade first to Dynamics GP 10 sp 5. When I try to install Dynamics GP with sp5 it thinks windows installer is installed but errors out during the installation because the windows installer isn't there. When I try installing window installer from the DVD I get an error that there is not enough space to complete the command. There is 15 gigs available on drive c and a ton on drive d. We are installing on a 2008 r2 operating system. Any suggestions on how to get windows installer installed?

Hi Richard.

Thanks for your response. We tried that. It turned out to be a registry key issue caused by a previous install and uninstall of Dynamics GP 2010

You are logged on as at least a local admin with complete permissions? Try downloading the Windows installer separately prior to doing the GP installation. There may be a newer version of Windows installer out on the web.
