Payables Historical Trial Balance Lists Wrong Transactions

I go in an print the AP Trial Balance with a date of 05/31/2011. I then go in an use 05/31/2011 and print the Historical AP Trail balance using the GL Posting date. For one vendor I suddenly see transactions from back on 2010. As an example, a payment was made on 07/02/10 for transactions dated in May and June of 2010. The payment fully covers these transactions and the posting date of the payment and the transactions is in 2010. So why is the AP HATB showing transactions that have long been applied to each other in past period that do not appear on the regular aging?

    Hi Richard,

    I am also running through the same problem with HATB report and i want to dig into the queries used for AP HATB report. Can you please share the queries sent from Microsoft which will help me a lot.

    We have run into an issue with both the AR and AP HATB showing a balance for fully paid items and I believe it is related to the multicurrency table getting referenced when the report is created.  Even though an orig balance is zero - item is fully applied and in history - if the MC table wasn't cleared properly - a functional balance appears on the HATB.

    At firrst I thought it was a problem with PM30200.DINVPDOF as it was set to a date in May of 2011 for these transactions so I set it to the same date as the GL posting date but that did not help. I have an open case with MS and I have been told they have scripts they will be sending me. Stay tuned.

    Do you get the same answer if you use the document date for the report? Does the report show the May 2010 invoice as outstanding on May of 2011, or are both the invoice and the payment showing up on the HATB?

    The apply date was 07/02/10.
