As there are big white spaces, I do think you tried to add screenshots. They are not visible. Can you repost them?
is there a way to do an attachment? It doesnt seem to let me copy paste or can I email them?
I cannot get the image to show up in copy past - how can I get you the images?
You have to save them on your desktop as a file and within the post use the Insert/Edit media button to add them.

Yes it works.
so you are putting the template on the header which applies it to the customer record and not to the revenues/cogs records.
Try putting it on the line level.
On the free text invoice template as you can see there is only one field where it can be entered. It is right above the lines fields
there is actually 2 places. On the header and in the line details.
And per your screen shot, you have applied the template on the header of the free text invoice, because I can see the payment section and the general section - that is on the header.
And on your next screen shot - line details - the template field is empty.
Please make sure this all is correct.
If you look at the free text invoice template there is only one field for the financial dimension template. When the recurring invoice function creates the free text invoice from my free text template neither the header or the lines are populating my dimension template. I am wondering if this is a bug??

I'm sorry! I missed the part that it was coming from a recurring invoice template!
Indeed, I just tested it in D3365 FO and it does not copy it.
Plus the issue still occurs in a new version.
There no setups that i know of that are missing.
