Hi Community,
I would like to find out whether closing of the Accounting Periods will affect posting of sales orders?
How come I can still post sales orders on 1/12/2021 when my accounting periods has already been closed?

It should not affect your ability to post back in a closed period.
Depending on your localization you might have to reopen your VAT period as well.
Hi, You need to append another setting.
Allow Posting From and Allow Posting to.

In general, a User can post to ANY Accounting Period or Posting Date that have access into (Allow Posting From and Allow Posting To). If one does post to an Accounting Period from a previous year, remember to Close Income Statement if the entry posted to an Income Statement GL Account.
Always make sure you update the General Ledger Setup Allow Posting From and To. Also, you can define the Allow Posting From and To on the User Setup page if you are granting a wider posting window for specific users.
