Hi,

This is a strange one I came across today. Newly updated CRM Online. Suddenly they can't qualify Leads.
The button is there on the ribbon and you can click it but nothing happens.
I think there something wrong with this one,I qualified another lead before this morning no problem then tried and old useless lead just as a test and it worked.
so there's something wrong with this particular one for some reason.

Thank you once again!

    Yes. Below are the details.

    Title: Unable to qualify leads

User Impact: Affected users are unable to qualify leads when duplicate detection is triggered

Current Status: Microsoft engineers have identified a known bug as the cause of this incident. A hotfix has been developed, and is expected to be deployed by Thursday, June 22, 2017. If you experience this issue prior to deployment of the hotfix, please follow the steps listed below. An update will be provided once the deployment is completed, or if there is any change to the deployment schedule.

User Experience: Affected users are unable to qualify leads when duplicate detection is triggered. Under normal circumstances, the following duplicate warning message would appear when duplicate detection is triggered: “There might already be a match for this account and contact. If so, please select it. To create a new record instead, click Continue.” This message is not currently appearing for affected users.

As a workaround, users will be able to qualify leads by following these steps:

    1) Deactivate the duplicate detection rule or temporarily disable duplicate detection.

    2) Qualify the lead.

    3) Re-enable duplicate detection.

Customer Impact: All customers worldwide on version 8.2.1.0207

Incident Start Time: Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 5:04 PM UTC

Found that it's a known bug that they are planning to fix on 6/22/2017, you can see in your Service Health "CR105070 - Unable to qualify leads". It's a bug within duplicate detection system. The suggested workaround is to temporary disable the duplication detection.

Try to use Fiddler to capture request xml. That will help to troubleshoot your issue.

We also run into this exact same issue with the exact same javascript error yesterday. We also just upgraded to D365 over the weekend so I don't know if it's a bug with D365 or it just started recently.

    Hi,

how about the other buttons - do they work? (Assign, for example)

Maybe I would try to use F12 (dev tools) to see if there is a javascript error (which might be originally caused by some onload script, for example)
