    Hi,

as long as you can connect to your OnPremise system from outside(i.e. browser) you should be able to use Axure functiona/ Logic Apps as this just execute your custom code which has the connection string.

    Refer this: http://himbap.com/blog/?p=3425

    Hope this helps.

You should also be able to connect to your SQL database using Logic Apps, even if not accessible via internet. Only issue of course the SQL database is only accessible via Filtered Views to read information. If you need to write information to the CRM environment, you will have to use the Organization Service which would require the environment to be accessible via the Internet (IFD if available).

So what you are saying is Microsoft Azure services like azure functions, logic apps can be used even with Dynamics 365 On-Premise if IFD is available. If Dynamics 365 On-Premise is accessible through browser then it is possible to connect the instance with Azure. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Thank you so much

Yes, that is correct. Take it like this, Azure functions, logic apps can execute your custom code. As long as that custom code works correctly, these will work. The only thing matters is that your code can connect to your crm and perform the operations. You can try this in a console app outside of your network and if everything works then it should work.
