Prevent check writing in test companies

Does anyone have a good way to prevent check writing from test companies, aside from denying that right through a role/task? I ask because it's so easy to copy production company permissions to a test company

Limit the users who have access to the Test company. How often do your users really need access to the Test database? Make sure that the blank checks are in a locked cabinet.

I also would recommend that you look into setting up a Sandbox environment for testing purposes.

If you already have a customized check, create a field on the check that is only visible when the company is a test company.
